The new SPECTREM PLUS system is the most advanced fixed-wing airborne system, collecting high resolution Electromagnetic (EM), Magnetic, Radiometric and Gravity concurrently. With the highest power and advanced processing, the SPECTREM PLUS system has the ability to simultaneously map shallow (1-100m) and deep (100-1000m) features with a higher level of resolution than any other comparable system. SPECTREM AIR pioneered some of the industry’s most significant advances in airborne electromagnetic technology since its original development 35 years ago. On-going research and developments have been implemented over the years culminating in the recent commissioning of the SPECTREM PLUS system. With over 2 million line kilometers collected over 5 continents, the company has retained its lead in AEM data acquisition, processing and interpretation. The company consists of a small group of aviation, financial, engineering and geophysics personnel based at the Lanseria International Airport in Johannesburg (South Africa). Airborne electromagnetic technology pioneer Spectrem Air, together with mining majors and main shareholders Anglo American and De Beers, is developing a superconductor magnetic gradiometer, known as SQUID, that will greatly enhance the capability of the sensors used in. SPECTREM AIR uses in-house data processing tools to provide the client with results in a timely manner. Our routine data processing is done during data acquisition resulting in a quicker turn-around to clients and preliminary maps made available after each sortie. SPECTREM AIR has a full suite of high-end data interpretation tools, from which several useful products can be derived. With access to latest super-computing clusters and mega-model generation and visualization capability, SPECTREM AIR provides quick turn-around of interpreted products.
